Developing International Swimming Fitness Norms
The ISOSC requires Coaches and their Squads for a research study which involves testing and collection of data. This collection is always ongoing.
The testing involves land based and pool based tests. The participants must be over 12 years of age and performing at least 10 hours of training per week. The participants must also have been performing at least 10 hours of training per week for the last 6 months.. The data will be used for producing normative data for swimming specific fitness tests. The research findings will be given to all members.
